SAFF Canada is a festival with a heart and a purpose. All proceeds support Education without Borders, a non-profit organization that funds educational programs for at-risk children in South Africa, as well as Indigenous youth projects in Canada.
In support of Education without Borders (EwB), the Abande Ubuntu Ezweni Concert is performing in Vancouver for a special musical collaboration featuring Maju Maju, a former founding member of the Soweto Gospel Choir and double Grammy Award Winner; Oleksiy Meleshko, a Ukrainian voice explorer, and the Kolo Choir from Ukraine.
This evening event promises to lift your spirits with an eclectic and traditional mix of celebrated music from South Africa and Ukraine.
